May is here, and with it comes the full bloom of spring! As the days grow longer and the weather warms up, our community is coming alive with local events, festivals, and outdoor activities. It’s the perfect time to get outside, soak up the sunshine, and explore all the exciting things happening around town. Let’s take a look at what’s going on this May!
Join Livermore Valley Arts to celebrate Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander culture featuring activities and performances to honor and celebrate the culture. Fun for the whole family!
Head to Longevity Wines for a night of karaoke singing! Grab your friends, pick your favorite tunes, and enjoy a wide menu of Longevity wines, all available by the flight, glass or bottle. There will be a food truck with delicious eats out front!
The Alliance for the Visual Arts will host the fourth annual Tri Valley Artist Studio Tour (TVAST) on May 3–4, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in San Ramon, Dublin, Pleasanton, and Livermore. Featuring around 50 artists at 15 locations, the free event includes a wide range of visual art, from painting and sculpture to textiles and jewelry, along with demonstrations and artist meet-and-greets. A special preview of select home studios will take place on May 2.
Watch top gymnasts from across the Western U.S. compete for regional titles at the National Gymnastics Association (NGA) Western Regional Zone Champions at the Alameda County Fairgrounds.
