Community
Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 30th, 2024, because it’s time to celebrate the heart of our community — the small businesses of Downtown Pleasanton!
Small Business Saturday is a nationwide event, and this year, our local shops, restaurants, and service providers are going all out to offer you special discounts, promotions, and unique shopping experiences. It’s the perfect opportunity to support the small businesses that make Pleasanton so special, all while getting some great deals for yourself.
This year, Downtown Pleasanton is pulling out all the stops for Small Business Saturday. From 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, expect a day filled with special promotions, events, and plenty of surprises. Here’s a sneak peek at some of the exciting things happening:
Exclusive Discounts and Promotions: Local businesses will be offering special sales, gifts with purchase, and limited-time offers. For example, Girlfriends Boutique will be offering 20% off storewide, making it a great opportunity to snag some stylish new finds while supporting a beloved local shop!
Commemorative Downtown Pleasanton Bags: The first 2,500 visitors to participating businesses will receive a free, exclusive Downtown Pleasanton bag. These reusable bags are the perfect souvenir to carry your purchases, and they’ll be a great reminder of the day you helped support local businesses.
Farmers Market Fun: As always, the Downtown Pleasanton Farmers Market will be open on Small Business Saturday, making it the perfect time to pick up fresh, local produce and other artisanal products. It’s a wonderful way to enjoy some outdoor shopping while grabbing some farm-fresh ingredients for your weekend meals.
Food, Drink, and More: Downtown Pleasanton is home to a wide range of dining options, from cozy cafés to upscale restaurants. After you’ve done some shopping, treat yourself to a delicious meal or grab a coffee to recharge for more exploring. Many of the eateries will likely be offering specials of their own, so make sure to check out the full list of promotions online or on social media.
When you shop small, you’re doing more than just finding great deals — you’re helping your neighbors thrive. Small businesses create jobs, support local charities, and contribute to the character of our town. The success of these businesses depends on the support of people like you, and Small Business Saturday is a great way to show your love for all the amazing shops and services Downtown Pleasanton has to offer.
So, join us on November 30th, and make your dollars go further by shopping, dining, and supporting local businesses. Let’s show our local businesses how much we appreciate them and help make this a day to remember!
