Connect to a Cause
At Connect California Homes, we feel privileged to serve our communities as part of our mission to build partnerships and give back. This October, we proudly went pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness and Prevention, a cause that holds personal significance for each of us. This year marked our 3rd Annual Connect to a Cause campaign, which focused on raising funds, building connections, and sharing vital information about breast cancer prevention.
On October 23, 2024, we held our end-of-month fundraiser event, Xtreme Music Bingo, to raise funds for Culinary Angels, a local nonprofit organization that delivers nutritious meals and nutrition education for individuals and families facing cancer in our community. This event was held at BottleTaps restaurant, and they generously donated 15% of their profits from the night to Culinary Angels.
Throughout the night, the restaurant came alive with music, laughter, and an inspiring sense of community! The highlight of the night was, of course, Xtreme Music Bingo, where we listened to 30-second music clips and marked our bingo cards in competition to be the first to shout “Bingo!” In addition, we also held a raffle with fantastic prizes, including a two-night stay at a beautiful Airbnb in Arnold, tickets to the Livermore Wine Trolley, a facial from Timeless Wellness, and a certificate for classes at Joya Yoga. In addition to 15% of BottleTaps profits, the raffle ticket sales were also donated to Culinary Angels. Congratulations to our raffle winners!
Board members from Culinary Angels were present at the event and were able to take the mic to share their mission and the impact their work has on the community. They emphasized that the funds raised would directly support their initiatives, ensuring that community members have access to nourishing meals during difficult times.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community and BottleTaps, the Xtreme Music Bingo event raised an impressive $1,361 for Culinary Angels. This vital funding will directly support their programs, helping to provide nutritious meals to those in need.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended our Xtreme Music Bingo event. Your enthusiasm and support made a significant impact. We appreciate your participation and look forward to continuing these efforts in the future. If you’re interested in volunteering with Culinary Angels, we encourage you to reach out to them. There are always opportunities to get involved and make a difference in our community.
As we conclude another successful Connect to a Cause campaign, we are reminded of the power of community and the positive change we can achieve when we unite for a common cause. The funds raised through Xtreme Music Bingo will help Culinary Angels continue their essential work, providing nourishment and support to those facing cancer.
Thank you once again to everyone who joined us in this endeavor; your support truly made all the difference! We host events like this frequently, so please stay tuned by visiting our Give Back page or our Instagram for updates on our upcoming community events.
