The highlight of the day is cheering at the finish line, proudly recognizing members with Down syndrome and celebrating their accomplishments. Oak Hill Park offers a scenic ¼-mile paved loop around a pond, wide grassy areas, and shade trees—perfect for picnics, play, and a joyful day outdoors. The Annual Harvest Fair returns to Dublin Heritage Park and Museums on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM for a day of old-fashioned fall fun! Families can enjoy a petting zoo, interactive games, face painting, apple crate toss, pumpkin ring toss, gold panning, washboard laundry, butter churning, and more. Admission is free, with activity wristbands available for $7 in advance or $10 at the event, and tractor rides included with wristband purchase. Guests can also explore arts and crafts, delicious fall foods like caramel apples, and the historic 1910 Kolb House to see life on a farm in the early 20th century. Wine & Dine 2025 | Oct 16

Celebrate the 32nd anniversary of Wine & Dine with an unforgettable evening of delicious food, fine wines, microbrew tastings, and our signature silent auction, featuring samples from over 30 local businesses! The event is 21+, with tickets priced at $40 for San Ramon Chamber members (in advance) and $50 for non-members or at the door. All food and drinks are included, and ticket holders can enter a $500 cash prize raffle. Refunds are available for cancellations made at least three business days before the event. The event runs in two sessions, from 4:00–5:30 PM and 6:00–7:30 PM, and pre-registration is required—no walk-ins will be accepted. Families are invited to join in the festive activities and enjoy a memorable Halloween experience in a safe, community-focused setting.

Walnut Creek Trunk or Treat | Oct 24

The 6th Annual Walnut Creek Trunk or Treat is back on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Civic Park for a FREE family-friendly Halloween celebration! Enjoy a night full of candy, costumes, live music, activities, and magical memories, including Día de los Muertos arts & crafts at the Gazebo from 3:00–6:00 PM. The event kicks off with a Low Sensory Hour from 3:00–4:00 PM, offering a calmer environment with no loud music, allergy-friendly treats, sensory activities, and quiet spaces for guests who benefit from a gentler setting. From 4:00–6:00 PM, families can stroll through decorated trunks and interactive booths, enjoy balloon twisters, face painting, food trucks, and more. Vendors and sponsors are welcome to participate and support this beloved community tradition.

Walnut Creek Joybound Hoedown | Oct 24

The Joybound Hoedown is coming to Joybound People & Pets in Walnut Creek on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 5:30–9:30 PM! Guests are invited to don their country western gear for a night of live music, line dancing, BBQ dinner (with vegetarian and vegan options), beer, wine, soft drinks, games, and sweet treats, all while supporting Joybound’s mission of bringing people and pets together.

Trick or Treat Street | Oct 24

Trick or Treat Street is back in Lafayette on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 4:00–6:00 PM! Children ages 9 and under and their families are invited to trick-or-treat safely along Mt. Diablo Blvd., from Lafayette Plaza to Dewing Ave, Lafayette Circle, and La Fiesta Square. The event is free, and participants can start and finish anywhere on the map. A Livermore favorite for families, the Kidz Town Halloween Hay Day welcomes children 5th grade and under for a free morning of trick-or-treating, games, live music, and a costume contest in Downtown Livermore. The fun continues at Stockmen’s Park with more treats from local vendors.

Orangefest San Ramon | Oct 25

Get ready for Orangefest — a family-friendly fall celebration happening Friday, October 25th from 5–8 PM at Brave Church’s San Ramon campus!
