SEP 20: Walnut Festival Twilight Parade

SEP 25–28: 89th Annual Walnut Festival
The Walnut Festival, organized by the non-profit Walnut Festival Association for nearly 90 years, is a beloved community tradition in Walnut Creek. Funds raised from the festival support local educational, recreational, artistic, and charitable programs, while also providing a platform for other non-profits to raise money. Held annually at Heather Farm Park, the festival brings the community together for family-friendly entertainment, live music, carnival rides, and more, all while fostering a strong sense of local involvement and giving back.
SEP 26–27: Walnut Creek Oktoberfest
Walnut Creek Oktoberfest returns to Civic Park East on Friday, September 26 (5–10 PM) and Saturday, September 27 (12–9 PM). Enjoy free admission, live music, authentic German beers, bratwurst and other traditional eats, an artisan market, and a kids’ area with inflatables and games. Just a short walk from Walnut Creek BART, it’s the perfect weekend to raise a stein and celebrate Bavarian fun with friends and family.
SEP 27: Corgi Con
Calling all Corgi lovers! Corgi Con is back at the Alameda County Fairgrounds, celebrating these adorable dogs with a day of fun activities, including a Corgi costume contest, a Corgi Ninja Warrior Obstacle Course, races, and more. It's the ultimate event for Corgi enthusiasts and dog lovers alike.
SEP 27: 2025 Wine Harvest Bash!
2025 Wine Harvest Bash takes place at Rosa Fierro Cellars on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 5:30–8:30 PM.
