Widmer World is one of the best light shows in Pleasanton, and this year they are celebrating 25 years! Ran by Bob and Susan Widmer, this beautiful holiday display features faux snow, Christmas music, large light displays, Christmas inflatables, and more! You can find the Widmer World Christmas light display at 3671 Chelsea Court. Visiting begins December 1st and is open every day from 6 PM to 9 PM until New Year's Eve. Public access is free, however donations are welcome.

DEC 7TH - DEC 25TH | 5:30 - 10 PM
For over 60 years this neighborhood has delighted locals with the Christmas Spirit of decorations and lights. 25+ houses are on display in this neighborhood tradition that has been going strong since 1955. Opening night is December 7th, the night of the Hometown Holiday Celebration!

Corner Orchard is famous for its stunning Christmas light displays, which are sure to delight visitors of all ages. You'll find an especially enchanting display, with a ton of pretty lights and charming characters that bring the holiday magic to life.

DEC 1ST - DEC 28TH | 5 - 11:30 PM
The home’s Christmas light display features a stunning array of lights, all carefully hung by the homeowner's 18-year-old son. It also includes over 40 handmade wooden Disney characters, with the son cutting the figures and the homeowner painting them.
LOCATION - 352 HILLCREST AVE, LIVERMORE
Deacon’ Daves is aglow with more than 600,000 lights on display for their 39th year. They’ve created many themes for their Christmas light display throughout the years. We can’t wait to see what theme they choose this year! You can find Deacon’ Daves light display at 352 Hillcrest Ave, Livermore. It will be open until New Years Eve, with Monday and Tuesday nights being the least crowded!
LOCATION - 467 KNOTTINGHAM CIR, LIVERMORE
NOV 22ND - DEC 30TH | 5 - 10 PM
This Livermore home is famous for its interactive Christmas light display, where visitors can walk around the property to enjoy unique attractions, including a snow machine, synchronized lights, and music on 107.9 FM. The display features one-of-a-kind items you won’t find anywhere else, with interactive buttons and a Santa phone on the porch. While it gets very crowded in December, especially on weekends, it’s a must-see experience for all ages. Don’t forget to bring a few quarters to activate the snow machine, a highlight every season!

A colorful Rainbow River leads you to a Christmas ornament explosion. A majestic Christmas tree stands towering above the house and ornaments of all shapes, colors and sizes are scattered about the yard decorating the entire house in Christmas spirit. Large Jingle Bells display happily, ringing in the holidays!

NOV 21ST - DEC 28TH | 5:30 - 10 PM
The Montrose house of dogs started as a joke that the homeowners played on their cranky neighbors at their first house in San Ramon. The neighbors didn’t like that they owned so many dogs– so one year the homeowners started to put only dogs on the lawn and it turned into something magical! Now they’re in Livermore and have over 55 dogs (and a couple random imposters) that light up the lawn!

Garden of D’Lights is a self-guided holiday light experience at the Ruth Bancroft Garden! See the Garden and plant collection transform into a dazzling waterwise wonderland illuminated with thousands of colorful lights, art installations, and lasers, creating a magical and enchanting atmosphere.

NOV 29TH - DEC 26TH | 5 - 10 PM
Owner Dave Peacock has had a long standing love for the classic Christmas movie, Christmas Vacation. Wanting to create magical moments for his own family, Dave’s been adding the traditional white lights to his Christmas display every year. With over 75,000 lights; his family’s home features eleven reindeer and 6 outdoor Christmas trees. Dave loves nothing more than when viewers stop by and take photos of his home during the holiday season. This “Griswold style” light display is sure to bring you and your family some holiday cheer!

NOV 28TH - JAN 1ST | 5:30 - 10 PM
The Fairbanks Family Christmas Display returns for its 38th year in 2024, featuring over 30,000 pixels and nearly 300,000 channels of lights. Highlights include Santa and his reindeer flying across the sky, with Rudolph soaring 45 feet high, and an 18-foot tall Frosty the Snowman. This year, a new 9-foot animated gingerbread man joins the spectacle. Visitors can enjoy the show from the comfort of their vehicles by tuning into 100.7 FM. The display runs nightly from 5:30 to 10:00 PM, from Thanksgiving through New Year's Day, weather permitting.

DEC 1ST - JANUARY 12TH | 10 AM - 3:30 PM & 4 - 9 PM
Filoli Gardens hosts Holidays at Filoli, where visitors are able to bask in the vibrant landscape, and spend time together. Tickets are available for daytime and evening admissions, and prices vary based on time and date of visit. Filoli Gardens hosts other holiday events such as Santa Days, live tablescaping, holiday wreaths, and a private holiday firepit experience.
LOCATION - 3200 BLOCK OF THOMPSON AVENUE, ALAMEDA
DEC 1ST - 31ST | 5 - 10 PM
Christmas Tree Lane is on the 3200 block of Thompson Ave, between High & Fernside. Since 1938, neighbors have shared holiday decorations with everyone. It is open every evening in December from approximately 5pm to 10pm. Walk up and down the Lane to take in the holiday displays and lights. It's also driveable for those who prefer not to walk, but traffic can be slow.
LOCATION - WATCH FROM ALAMEDA SIDE OF THE ESTUARY
DEC 7TH | 5:30 PM
The Lighted Yacht Parade takes place on December 7th at 5:30 PM, with the best viewing from the Alameda side of the Estuary. The parade features a variety of illuminated boats, including sailboats, powerboats, rowing shells, and more.

NOV 8TH - JAN 26TH | 4:30 - 9 PM
This wildly illuminating lantern festival is open November 8th through January 26 from 4:30pm–9pm. This year’s experience features new themes - take a float down Africa's longest river, the Nile to view wading wildlife and ancient Egyptian structures, a trip to the farm to visit barnyard favorites like cows, chicken, and sheep, a hike up the highest peaks to visit animals at the top of the world like ibex and alpaca, and a return to the past to see dinosaurs take over the California trail.
