Connect to a Cause
At Connect California Homes, we understand that it is a privilege and an honor to live in the communities that we serve. It is a core value and part of our mission as local business owners to create strategic partnerships within our community and seek out opportunities to give back and allow others to do the same. That is why we have created Connect to a Cause, where each quarter we support a cause in need.
This quarter, Connect California Homes brought greater attention to heart disease & encouraged practices to promote heart health in unison with February American Heart Month. Taking care of our hearts and health is important to all of us in a unique way, and whatever your reason may be, taking care of your heart health can be as simple as living a balanced lifestyle with a healthy diet and regular exercise.
One way that we supported heart health this month was by partnering with the American Red Cross, a non-profit organization that provides emergency assistance, disaster relief, and disaster preparedness education in the United States. We understand the role that blood donations play in saving lives, helping those in need and in emergency situations. Due to this, we’ve created our own American Red Cross campaign where community members can join us in pledging to donate blood!
We’ve also raised awareness for heart health this month by sharing heart health tips on our Instagram and participating in National Wear Red Day, a day in February when many people wear red to show their support for the awareness of heart disease.
We plan to connect to more causes each quarter and raise awareness for causes like this one. Please stay tuned for ways we can Connect to a Cause again on our Give Back page or for updates on our Instagram @connectcahomes.
